If your child is too adventurous to stay indoors all summer, let them take a walk on the wild side of science at Discovery Science Center’s “Summer Smiles” Camp at the San Joaquin Marsh! In this exciting camp, kids will investigate the world of frogs, bats, butterflies, and crabs.They will use magnifiers to get an up-close look at butterfly wings, concoct ooey, gooey slime, make a bat box, and grind their own colorful sand. Your junior explorer will enjoy learning the purpose of the Marsh’s natural filtration ponds during nature hikes in one of Orange County’s most scenic and naturalistic settings! All activities are conducted in the safety of the Marsh’s “Discovery” classroom.This camp is located at the San Joaquin Marsh.
